Bright nickel

Bright nickel refers to an electroplated nickel layer with a high-gloss, mirror-like surface, sought above all for decorative applications. The shine results from special brightening additives in the plating bath, which refine the crystal structure of the deposited layer. As the optical counterpart to matte velour nickel, bright nickel is used wherever an elegant, representative appearance is required alongside corrosion protection.
