Copper-to-Aluminium Material Substitution

In copper-to-aluminium material substitution, a lighter, more cost-effective aluminium alloy replaces copper in heat-conducting or electrical components. As aluminium is not inherently solderable, an electroless nickel coating secures heat dissipation, corrosion resistance and a reliable, metallurgically bonded joint – for example in brake control systems and power electronics.
