Saltwater resistance

Saltwater resistance describes how reliably a coating protects against corrosion under actual saltwater exposure – for example in offshore or coastal use. It is often estimated using accelerated test methods such as the neutral salt spray test, but specifically represents sustained exposure in a saline environment.
