Layer Thickness Distribution

Coating thickness distribution describes how evenly the layer thickness is distributed across the component – critical for corrosion protection, wear resistance, dimensional accuracy and functional properties such as heat transfer or conductivity. It is checked using magnetic-inductive measurement or X-ray fluorescence analysis and is deliberately homogenised through optimised anode and rack arrangement as well as bath flow.
