Parts Cleaning (Technical Cleanliness)

Parts cleaning encompasses all cleaning processes used to remove particles, oils, and other contaminants from components before coating or assembly. "Technical cleanliness" according to VDA 19 / ISO 16232 defines how many and how large residual dirt particles are permitted on a component.
