Heat treatment of aluminium

The mechanical properties, such as strength and ductility of hardenable alloy components can be optimized by heat treatment.

Particularly suitable materials for this process are AL-Mg-Si alloys. 

Depending on the design of the process (time and temperature) and the alloy, the desired properties can be specifically adjusted. This allows the range of possible applications to be increased many ways over.
