Holder goes China!

Far-reaching cooperation agreement with BOFU LTD. with headquarters in Shenyang

Holder GmbH – specialized in surface treatment/coating – with locations in Laichingen, Kirchheim Teck and Lenningen near Stuttgart and around 350 employees, has fixed further steps towards worldwide availability of its products.

Together with BOFU LTD. based in Shenyang, China, a far-reaching cooperation agreement was signed on 03.04.2017. BOFU LTD. employs around 100 people and specialises in zinc and zinc nickel plating as well as the corresponding pre- and post-treatment processes. At the Shenyang site, it is the only electroplating shop certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001/14001 and ISO/TS 16949. “The certifications were decisive. Products and galvanic services bearing the name HOLDER must be manufactured in the same quality as in our plants in Germany,” says Jochen Holder, owner and managing director of Holder GmbH.

Why Shenyang?

BMW has invested massively here in recent years, further OEMs will follow by 2020 – the supplier network in the newly founded German/China Business Park is still in its infancy. We want to be there from the very beginning and supply our customers with the accustomed HOLDER quality”.

To ensure that this can be guaranteed, no compromises are made in the chemicals. Products of HSO (www.hso-solingen.de) and Färber & Schmid (www.faerber-schmid.ch) are also fully used in China. Both companies are represented in China by HSO Chemical (Shanghai) Ltd. and can supply both service and quality according to German and Swiss standards.

With immediate effect HOLDER GmbH offers services in the field of zinc, zinc nickel and phosphating according to proven HOLDER standards in China. Further surface services such as parts cleaning/washing, electroless nickel, anodising, zinc flake coating and from the end of 2018 the treatment of aluminium body components will follow as early as 2018.

German management

German management, a production and QA system taken over from Germany as well as a waste water treatment plant according to the latest standards should make the HOLDER BOFU cooperation “the” provider for surface services in the Shenyang area in the medium term!
